Vidhi:
1. Basmati chawal ko 30 minute tak paani mein bhigoye. Fir chaan le aur alag rakh dein.
2. Ek bada bartan mein ghee ya tel garam karein medium aanch par. Isme poore masale (tej patta, elaichi, laung aur dalchini) daal kar ek minute tak bhune, jab tak unka aroma na aaye.
3. Isme patle tukdo mein kaati hui pyaaz daale aur tab tak pakayein jab tak woh sunheri brown na ho jayein. Adha bhuna hua pyaaz alag kar ke garnish ke liye side mein rakh dein.
4. Bartan mein adrak-lehsun ka paste daal kar ek minute tak bhune, jab tak kachcha aroma na ho jaye.
